i can write occult porn novels

Here is an excerpt of what I have to write for my writing class regarding Hellsing Vol. 1 and Hellsing Ultimate OVA:

Alucard's firearm for reference

"I too, noticed the questionably phallic nature of the weapons in Hellsing, an observation made solely as a result of being an observant, critical reader (and for that reason alone.). Even the front cover and the very first page of the manga contain flagrantly phallic imagery of Alucard and his gun. Alucard’s gun is his preferred method of killing, the source of his lethal power. In the anime, the gun is visually glorified to the point of a fetish. When Alucard opens fire on the ghouls, the illustration of the gun is upgraded to a CG rendering. The camera slows down and pans down its long barrel, showing its methodical, powerful… thrusting, for a lack of a better term, as it recoils from each shot. After Alucard unloads an unrealistic amount of rounds for a handgun clip, the camera cuts to the hot, empty shells spilling onto the floor (a piece of imagery that I will assume is understood without further needed explanation). His gun’s ability to kill what nothing else can, to dispense a seemingly unlimited amount of ammunition, and to intimidate foes and amaze comrades further demonstrates Hirano’s overwhelming fetish for guns. I understand Min’s hypothesis that these guns as sex organs play a role in a metaphor for death and violence as sex, but I think this glorification of weapons serves another purpose as well. For me, personally, I see the characters with better guns and more firepower to be more powerful and masculine. This imagery is a tool to make the target audience (young males) admire the protagonist and his sidekick subconsciously."

DMZ

Yesterday's news, aka,

NOOOOO KOREAN GIRLSSSS!!!

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea's army said on Saturday it would assume an "all-out confrontational posture" against the South and wipe out the conservative government in Seoul for refusing to cooperate with them.

Source (Reuters UK)

Don't worry, KoreanDJ will edgeguard the DMZ

School has started and my workload is still pretty difficult despite my more convenient schedule. I'd rather not talk about it, it's quite boring.

Yesterday I watched one of my favorite movies on Lifetime, Sister Act II: Back in the Habit (1993), featuring the lovely Lauryn Hill.

She was my first celebrity crush. Who was yours? (Comment!)

While looking through my old YouTube favorites, I came upon this video (literally):

Girl in the back left, aka the non-attention whore, plz

On a side note, Boxcuttuhz and Quest in the finals of ABDC, please. Lydia Paek of Boxcuttuhz is originally from Quest anyway.
And if you haven't watched enough videos, be sure to watch the video under peasantvision: it's an eerily accurate summary of every typical breakup.. haha.

blacklist

here's a filler blog post to keep up with everyone else's updates today (confessional, alter ego, obnoxiously happy girl), inspired by ee-soh-hee's list shenanigans and most of my winter break spent driving doing good deeds, listening to top 40 radio

Things Black Musicians Instruct Me to Do:
1. Keep my love locked down
2. Supaman dat ho
3. Put a ring on it (only under the condition that I enjoyed the aforementioned "it")
4. Throw some D's
5. Live my life, steadily in the pursuit of paper
6. Grind on his dick, make it get a lil' bigger
7. Give him the Green Light
8. Tell him when to go

Life Lessons Learned through White Pop Artists' Music:
1. Dancing will negate any ramifications of irresponsibility, according to Lady GaGa, (Tagalog for dumbass) in her song "Just Dance"

2. Humans cannot tolerate extreme temperatures, as demonstrated by the Jonas Brothers' "Burning Up"

3. Teenage girls should not write love songs, or else they will end up sounding like Taylor Swift's "Love Story".

4. Make sure your girlfriend is straight, because apparently some of them enjoy kissing other women, as experienced first hand by Katy Perry in "I Kissed a Girl".
